India, with an average age of 28.4 years, holds a significant youth demographic. About 68% of rural youth face limited employment opportunities, leading to challenges. Only 25% of graduates find employment, particularly in tier 2 & 3 cities, due to a gap between industry expectations and academic curriculum.
Prioritizing youth, the Skills and Vocational Training Program addresses integrated life skills and industry-relevant training. By providing employment, the program breaks the cycle of poverty and desperation, fostering a productive path of growth and transformation. Skilling and rendering one youth employable uplifts the entire family out of poverty.
Today, we have 16 centers across Maharashtra and Gujrat, in metros as well as tier 1 and tier 2 cities. Of 16 centres, 15 centres offer soft skill training, 6 centres additionally offer digital journalism course along with soft skills and one centre provides vocational upskilling course.
